Mobile app firm buys company

TAMPA — Mad Mobile Inc., a app development firm, acquired the assets of KidoZen Inc., which provides back-end software and services for mobile companies. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed

Tampa-based Mad Mobile will integrate the newly acquired technology with its Mad.X platform, according to a statement. Mad Mobile's platform offers customers several benefits, including app performance analytics.

KidoZen was founded in 2011 and has since received more than $6 million in venture capital funding. Mad Mobile builds mobile applications for companies such as Major League Baseball, Sysco and Payless ShoeSource.
