NAPLES — Pulte Homes acquired 507 acres off Vanderbilt Beach Road in North Naples where it plans to build 548 homes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction includes land from two sellers: Golf Club of Everglades and Olde Florida Golf Club. The 281-acre Golf Club of Everglades site east of Collier Boulevard off Vanderbilt Beach Road includes land for homes, an 18-hole golf course, maintenance facility and clubhouse with dining, pro shop and locker rooms. Olde Florida is retaining adjacent property separated by a wooded buffer that includes its existing 18-hole golf course and club.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to offer new homes in beautiful surroundings next to a prestigious golf club,” says Richard McCormick, president of PulteGroup's South Florida division, in a statement.
