Validus Group sells affiliates for $80M

TAMPA — Validus Group has sold two of its affiliated companies, Validus Strategic Capital Partners and Strategic Capital Advisory Services, to financial advisory services firm RCS Capital Corp. for $80 million. The sale includes additional bonus money based on the entities' financial performance following the sale.
