Lennar hires new land acquisition manager

TAMPA — Lennar's Central Florida Division has hired homebuilding executive Jim McCarthy as land acquisition manager for the Tampa Bay area.

McCarthy, who graduated from the University of South Florida, formerly served as vice president of land acquisition for M/I Homes and KB Home. He has more than 15 years of experience in land acquisition and development in the home building industry.

In his new role, McCarthy will be focusing on acquiring raw land and developed home sites throughout the Tampa Bay area.
