WellCare hiring Aetna executive as CFO

TAMPA — WellCare Health Plans Inc. announced today that Andrew “Drew” Asher will join the company as senior vice president, effective Aug. 29. He is expected to be appointed as chief financial officer by the board of directors in November after the third quarter financial reporting process is completed. Tom Tran will remain as CFO until Asher's appointment becomes official.
