Hertz starts hiring spree

NAPLES — Hertz has started hiring people to staff its corporate headquarters in Florida while it builds a new campus in Estero.

The car-rental giant, which is relocating its global corporate headquarters to south Lee County from New Jersey, could have as many as 700 employees at its Estero headquarters when it's built. Hertz has started hiring people for sales and managerial positions in temporary space in Naples and Bonita Springs.

According to an announcement from the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, Hertz will be interviewing job candidates in person from April 8 through 10.
