USF honors 56 fastest-growing alumni companies

TAMPA — The University of South Florida Alumni Association has compiled a list of the 56 fastest-growing companies owned or operated by a former USF student, and will recognize them at an awards reception and dinner April 12, the university says in a release.

The ranking of the companies will be revealed at the event, which will be keynoted by Daytona International Speedway President and alumni Joie Chitwood III. It's the first year the university has done the ranking, which it has coined the USF Fast 56 Class of 2013. Scroll below to see the alphabetical listing of the companies.

The companies were ranked by percentage of cumulative annual revenue growth, as verified by Tampa accounting firm Ernst & Young, the release says. To be included, companies must have been in operation for at least 36 months; they must have verifiable revenues of at least $250,000 for the past 12 months; and they must be owned or operated by a former USF student.
