Builders Care starts 130th project

FORT MYERS — Builders Care, the nonprofit arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA), has partnered with Stock Development to build a home for a family of 14.

Created in 2005, this will be Builders Care's 130th project and will put it over the $2 million milestone of investment in Lee County, says Fred Barry, past president of Builders Care.

BIA members donate all labor and materials, and the donations stay in Lee County. The Board of Directors is made up of CEOs and owners of leading building industry companies, according to a release.
