JetBlue suspends Naples talks

NAPLES — JetBlue abruptly suspended talks with the Naples Municipal Airport about providing nonstop airline service to New York-area airports.

“This is unexpected news, and this development will be discussed during Thursday's board meeting,” says Ted Soliday, executive director of the city of Naples Airport Authority, in a statement.

JetBlue has suspended discussions with Naples airport officials indefinitely “until the community decision-making process plays itself out,” Soliday says in the statement.
