Community Bank opens branch

BELLEAIR BLUFFS — Community Bank & Co., a Lakewood Ranch-based bank with 17 locations on the Gulf Coast, will open a new location in Belleair Bluffs on Wednesday, it says in a news release. The new branch will be located at 525 Indian Rocks Road in north Pinellas County.

The Belleair location is the bank's sixth branch in Pinellas County and 12th in the Tampa Bay region, according to the bank's website.

Community Bank has locations in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Charlotte and Pasco counties. The community bank had $729.27 million in assets and annual revenue of $31.97 million at the end of 2011. The bank's assets and revenues more than doubled in 2011 compared with the previous year; its assets increased by 164% and its revenues increased by 151%.
