Builder buys 100 lots in Tampa

TAMPA — Atlanta-based homebuilder Ashton Woods Homes acquired 100 home sites in southern Hillsborough County.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The lots are in Tanglewood Preserve, near Gibsonton. Presales of three, four and five bedroom single-family homes, priced from the $140s, will start this month, the homebuilder says in a release. New homes will range in size from 1,600 square feet to 3,000 square feet.

In addition to Tampa, Ashton Woods builds homes in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Phoenix and San Antonio.
