Progressive hires 390 in Tampa

TAMPA -- Progressive, the auto insurance subsidiary of The Progressive Corp. (symbol: PGR), will hire 390 additional sales, service and claims representatives for its Riverview contact center in the coming months.

Progressive employs more than 2,000 local workers in the Tampa Bay area. Last October, the company announced 130 new hirings for the end of the year.

All positions offer paid training, Progressive says, and new hires will receive medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits. Additional information is available at Progressive's website.
