Manufacturers elect president

The Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association elected Matt Chambers as president of the organization, which promotes economic development in the manufacturing sector.

Chambers is president of JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts in Cape Coral. JRL Ventures recently expanded its manufacturing operations and announced plans to begin building aerospace simulators.

JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts currently has 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space in three locations: Cape Coral, Pine Island and Sarasota. The company specializes in fiberglass tooling for a variety of industries, including recreational boats and energy generation.
