Shamrock Bank expands

NAPLES — Shamrock Bank of Florida, one of the few remaining community banks based in Naples, opened an office Monday in the new town of Ave Maria in eastern Collier County.

Naples-based Barron Collier Cos. and Domino's Pizza Founder Tom Monaghan are developing Ave Maria, near the town of Immokalee. Ave Maria University anchors the center of the town, which will have 11,000 homes on 4,000 acres when it's built out.

Monaghan is also on the board of Shamrock Bank, which had $95 million in assets as of March 31, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
