Cut 'til you drop

Landing in the Guinness Book of World Records always gets people talking.

In this case, one hair salon in Cape Coral is going to cut its way into the record book. Cre8 Salon & Spa will attempt to break the current world record for the number of haircuts performed in eight hours.

A team of 10 stylists from Cre8 Salon will attempt to reach at least 300 haircuts in eight hours Nov. 6, which would break the current record by 50 haircuts. Proceeds from the haircuts will benefit the Florida Chapter of ALS Association for Lou Gehrig's disease.
