There's another avenue for women entrepreneurs to pitch their companies to prospective investors.

Bethann Kassman, CEO of the Go Beyond Network in Naples, brings together investors interested in providing capital to early stage companies. She and Naples magazine publisher Sharon Hood recently hosted the second Excel-eration Summit in Naples.

At the summit, women entrepreneurs pitched their companies to prospective investors. Presenters represented a wide range of industries, from a company that develops drugs that protect against radiation to another that created a shoe-storage system.
