Sabal Trust names new COO

ST. PETERSBURG — Sabal Trust Co., which manages $1.2 billion in assets, named William “Bill” McQueen as its new president and chief operating officer this week.

During the course of his 27-year career as a business professional, McQueen has both practiced trust and estate law as a St. Petersburg attorney, and operated a small business as president of Anderson-McQueen, a funeral home with five locations.

Sabal Trust Co. operates offices in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota, and The Villages. Able to trace its corporate roots back to 1983, the company currently employs 37 people.
