Technology workers are probably well versed on ways to look for jobs online, but a local group is offering what could be a more streamlined resource.
The Tampa Bay Technology Forum has introduced its own online career center, allowing members and others to post job openings as well as search and apply. Members get free access and can post unlimited openings, while the cost to non-members is $100 per 60-day post.
“We recently conducted a hiring survey and found out that many Tampa Bay tech companies are hiring and planning for growth, so we anticipate many great opportunities will be available soon for those seeking new job opportunities,” Amy Norman, president and CEO of the 400-member forum, tells Coffee Talk. She says the career center has already seen a great deal of activity in its first week.
TBTF member organizations represent technology entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, investors, government representatives, researchers and educators. Special membership rates are available for students and transitional workers.
