Humana to hire 140 in Tampa

TAMPA — Humana Inc. (symbol: HUM), a Medicare benefits provider with $34 billion in 2010 revenues, will soon hire 140 additional employees for its call center operations in Tampa.

The new hires will give Humana a staff of 2,200 local employees this summer, although only half of those positions will be full-time, a release says.

Humana is looking to add to its telesales and floor management staff. The new employees will work at Humana's existing facility, at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave.
