TAMPA — AgileThought, a Tampa-based software designer and consultant, hired Timothy Monson as its managing director for the Midwest region. Monson will work from the company's new Chicago office, which opened this year.

Monson is a former Chief Technology Officer for Navigant Consulting; a one-time director of global IT operations for BearingPoint Inc.; and at one point served as global director of data center and end-user device technology operations for Arthur Andersen.

AgileThought expects to do roughly $10 million in business in 2011. Led by CEO David Romine, the firm is currently in the process of moving into a new headquarters in Tampa's Rocky Point district.
