A week ago, two men — Clark Marcus and John Hill — led Tampa-based Comprehensive Care Corp. as co-CEOs. Today, the company announced that Hill would be stepping down, making Marcus the firm's sole chief executive.
Following his resignation, Hill will remain with the company as a consultant, a release said.
“I am proud of the turnaround strategy we've implemented at CompCare over the past two years,” Hill said in a release, specifically citing a contract signed in August that will help deliver CompCare's services to 185,000 Medicare members living in Puerto Rico.
CompCare has been in business since 1969. After earning more than $35 million in revenues in both 2007 and 2008, the company struggled last year, bringing in just $14 million.
