Franklin Street buys Atlanta firm

Franklin Street Financial Partners acquired the Smith Attaway Company LLC, an Atlanta-area brokerage firm. Sean Attaway Molloy, president of the acquired company, joins Franklin Street as a partner in its Atlanta office.

A licensed broker in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina, Molloy has closed on $135 million worth of real estate transactions in his career. He began his career with Marcus and Millichap of Atlanta before starting his own companies.

Franklin Street is led by Andrew Wright, a member of the Business Review's 40 Under 40 for 2010. Wright is 29.
