WFG enters Gulf Coast

WFG National Title Insurance Co. will open its Florida state headquarters in Safety Harbor, near St. Petersburg. Michael Sexton will represent the company as state manager.

WFG National Title is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Williston Financial Group, which is based in Oregon. Regardless of the distance of his company's headquarters from this market, however, Williston president Patrick Stone is confident that now is the time to expand in Florida.

“We will be growing rapidly, as it is the most opportune time in the market's history to make cost effective acquisitions,” said Stone, who spent eight years as president of Fidelity National Financial before coming to Williston.

WFG National Title currently operates in 33 states.
