Integrated Freight buys Bruenger

Integrated Freight Corp., a Sarasota-based motor freight company, bought Wichita-based Bruenger Trucking Co. and its subsidiary M. Bruenger & Co. Inc. in a transaction valued at about $11 million.

IFC expects the purchase to add $21 million to the firm's annual revenues, which would push total IFC revenues above the $60 million mark, a company release said.

Former Bruenger CEO Butch Bruenger will take on a leadership role with IFC following the transaction.
