PRICE: $5.6 million

LAW FIRM ON DEED: Duncan & Associates PA, Fort Myers

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Lee County purchased 2.9 acres of land on Fort Myers Beach for $5.6 million.

The price equated to $1,931,034 per acre.

The purchase includes a 96,000-square-foot property on the beach and a much smaller adjacent lot with a 38,000-square-foot commercial building.

The county plans to demolish the building and use the smaller parcel as parking. It will keep the three other beachfront parcels undeveloped.
