Secretary Tom Pelham will resign from the Florida Department of Community Affairs effective Jan. 3, 2011, as current Gov. Charlie Crist's term expires. Pelham's decision acknowledges a rift between him and Gov.-elect Rick Scott on the DCA's role in Florida's future.
Scott has been critical of the DCA for what he considers its anti-business and anti-job actions.
