Alorica plans to add 250 jobs

Alorica Inc., a customer contact outsourcing firm based in Fort Myers, received $199,200 in grant money from the Fort Myers Regional Partnership to expand its workspace and hire additional employees.

Alorica currently employs 350 workers, and is looking to add an additional 250 over the next three years, a release said. The company hopes to add 50 technical support workers to its staff in the next two weeks.

The grant money will be used to help pay for equipment, new facility renovations, impact/permit fees and employee training. In exchange, the county expects to receive an economic impact of $9.8 million over the next three years by hosting Alorica's business.
