Yippy announces symbol change

Potential investors take note: common stock of Yippy Inc. is now available under a new ticker listing. Stock in the Fort Myers-based company formerly known as Cinnabar Ventures is now trading under the symbol YIPI.

The technology company is aiming to build a uniquely family-friendly Internet experience for Web surfers at large. "The company's goal is to create the most aggressive browser and search engine with respect to content filtering," explains Richard Granville, Yippy's CEO, in a release accompanying the change.

Yippy, a feature story subject in a February issue of the Business Review, recently purchased Clusty.com, an Internet search operation, from Pittsburgh-based tech firm Vivisimo Inc.
