Jagged Peak squeaks out profit

Increased revenues at Jagged Peak Inc., up 28% in the first quarter of 2010, have lead to marginal profitability for the technology company, which reported a net income of $11,300 ($0.001 per share) for the first three months of the year.

Dollars spent a year ago are helping Jagged Peak to become a profitable company this year, according to company CEO Paul Demirdjian.

“The investments we did in 2009 and the increased sales momentum translated into a great first quarter and put Jagged Peak on track to have a very successful 2010. We see accelerated sales momentum in our industry,” Demirdjian said in a release announcing his company's first quarter financial results.
