AIF endorses Marco Rubio

Associated Industries of Florida, a non-profit, pro-business organization, has endorsed former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio as a candidate for the state's vacant U.S. Senate seat.

“A true fiscal conservative, Marco will curb the current Administration's out-of-control spending policies that have not produced the promised results, like new job creation,” said Barney Bishop III, the group's president. “He clearly understands that we cannot tax our way to prosperity and will bring much-needed fiscal discipline to Washington.”

Data collected by AIF support the notion that Rubio's views align with those of the organization. Historically, Rubio's votes have been in line with AIF's interests 95% of the time, a release said.
