Grubb & Ellis adds Tampa vets

Grubb & Ellis Co. has hired two veterans of the Gulf Coast commercial real estate industry to expand its regional presence. Randy Buddemeyer and Tim Rivers will join Grubb & Ellis as executive managing director and senior vice president, respectively.

Buddemeyer, who leaves his post as managing director at CB Richard Ellis, will be responsible for the company's activity in Florida and the Carolinas, a release said, while Rivers has also been made director of the company's Management Services.

Of the company he now joins, Buddemeyer says, “They've used the market downturn to upgrade talent and build out their delivery platform."

“It's exciting to be able to execute on that potential,” he added.
