Ruiz joins Inuvo as CFO

Wally Ruiz has been named the newest chief financial officer at Inuvo, a Clearwater-based advertising firm.

A release said Ruiz' “strong record of building start-up, turnaround and fast-growth organizations” made him a fit for the company.

Ruiz staged his last turnaround effort while serving as the top financial officer at SRI Surgical Express Inc., a Tampa-based surgical supply company. SRI stock (symbol: STRC) has seen its value more than double so far this year.
