Former Fla. GOP chair arrested

State officials have released the charges being brought against Jim Greer, former chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. They include one count of organized fraud, one count of money laundering, one count of second-degree theft, and three counts of third-degree theft.

Jim Greer, the former chairman of the Republican Party, is under arrest this morning, according to the Associated Press. Officials declined to indicate the charges against Greer.

Greer stepped down from his position as party chair in February, after party members reported lavish spending during his time as leader.
