Networking guide may level the field

Networking can be hard work, especially when trying to determine which organizations to connect with or how many events to attend in any given week. Now a local guru on the subject is offering help in the form of a directory.


Eric Sturm has published “Tampa Business Options,” a 112-page guide that he says will give businesses of all sizes an extra edge over their competitors. The $40 soft cover book is available for sale on Amazon or at his own site, TampaOptions.com.


“After talking with friends and various business contacts, I discovered that there was no comprehensive resource of information on the hundreds of business organizations in the Tampa Bay area,” Sturm tells Coffee Talk. He adds that his book provides contact and mission information as well as programming details of area professional associations, networking groups and business organizations.


Sturm touts “Tampa Business Options” as “the perfect tool to have in one's arsenal” for sales prospecting, fundraising, marketing and career development, noting that it contains information normally reserved for bigger players. “My hope,” he says, “is that it will help a whole bunch of people.”
