Quality adds executives

Quality Distribution Inc. promoted Stephen R. Attwood to president and chief operating officer, and named Joseph Troy its new chief financial officer, effective Aug. 2.

Troy joins Quality after having spent many years as CFO at Walter Energy Inc., formerly Walter Industries Inc., the former mainstay of Tampa's corporate lineup that will soon relocate to Alabama.

Gary Enzor, CEO at Quality, explained in a release that Attwood had been focused on making changes to the company's business practices.
