Nicholas opens two branches

Nicholas Financial Inc. opened two new branches this week, located in Morrow, Ga. and Fort Wayne, Ind. The new additions give Nicholas a total of 54 branches among the 12 states in which it operates.

“It is the intent of the company to continue to grow our branch network as aggressively as markets and personnel allow," said Doug Marohn, the company's senior vice president of Branch Operations, in a release.

Based in Clearwater, Nicholas Financial Inc. specializes in direct consumer lending, and in the purchasing of sales contracts from automobile dealers. The company's common stock has been traded publicly since 1987.
