Castle adds WCI portfolio

WCI Communities, a Bonita Springs-based developer, selected the Castle Group to manage its Florida properties. For Castle, the new portfolio will add to the 70,000 units from more than 200 Floridian community associations it already manages.

After emerging from bankruptcy last year, WCI continues to struggle to find profitable ground. The business posted a net loss of more than $16 million in the first three months of this year, according to its financial statements.

The Castle Group is based in Plantation. Led by CEO James Donnelly, the firm employs more than 700 people.
