The 20-year compact between the state of Florida and the Seminole Tribe has received federal approval, allowing the tribe to move forward with its plans to expand its business.

The approval, granted by the U.S. Department of the Interior, was printed in the July 6 issue of the Federal Register.

A June issue of the Business Review featured an in-depth story on the compact between the state and the Seminole Tribe.
