Aerosonic lands Korean client

Aerosonic Corp., a Clearwater-based aviation manufacturer, entered into a contract with Korean Aerospace Industries to provide KAI with what it refers to as “highly engineered test equipment.”

A company release, which did not disclose financial specifics, explained that the equipment would give KAI the ability to support other Aerosonic products without shipping them outside of the nation's borders.

The deal represents the second such contract signed with an international client, the release said.

With headquarters in Clearwater, Aerosonic Corp. operates one other location, in Charlottesville, Va.
