Wehr joins WellCare

WellCare Health Plans Inc. named Dr. Ann Wehr to be its newest chief medical officer.

Wehr comes to WellCare from New Mexico-based Molina Healthcare, where she served as president and CEO. She also spent time as that company's chief medical officer.

“Her strong health policy credentials and experience managing a health care plan give her a unique perspective and make her an excellent addition to our team,” said Alec Cunningham, CEO of WellCare.
