You can't have it both ways in Lee

It's no surprise that Lee County Administrator Karen Hawes blogs as a cheerleader for the county's economic development programs considering the county suffers as much as any in the nation from foreclosures, declining property values and high unemployment.

Hawes' recent blog reads in part, “Bringing new business to Lee County benefits all of us, and everybody knows somebody who would enjoy the benefits of doing business here.”
But her bosses' actions speak louder than blog words.
