SB 360 ruled unconstitutional

SB 360, a growth management law also known as the “Community Renewal Act,” has been ruled unconstitutional by Circuit Court Judge Charles Francis. The law allowed local communities to build new developments and waive concurrency requirements for transportation that had nixed many developments. But Francis decided that doing so basically forced an “unfunded mandate” on local governments.
