Tower Cloud raises $25.5M

Tower Cloud Inc., a St. Petersburg-based telecommunications company, raised $25.5 million in capital by selling equity to investors, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission shows.

Investors buying an equity stake in Tower Cloud's most recent offering include: Ballast Point Ventures, based in St. Petersburg; The Burton Partnership, based in Tampa; Sutter Hill Ventures (Palo Alto, Calif.); El Dorado Ventures (Menlo Park, Calif.); and Noro-Moseley Partners (Atlanta).

Tower Cloud Inc. helps mobile companies handle increasingly large amounts of bandwidth required for mobile voice and data services.
