Restaurant firm buys Buffalo Wild Wings building

PRICE: $2.57 million

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc. purchased a 6,568-square-foot restaurant building for $2.57 million.


The price equated to $392 per square foot.


Southfield, Mich.-based Diversified Restaurant Holdings has operated a Buffalo Wild Wings from the building since December 2003. It exercised a purchase option on the building.


“Our Buffalo Wild Wings location in Brandon is in an attractive area,” Diversified Restaurant Holdings chairman, president and CEO Michael Ansley says in a press release. “We felt it was the right time to exercise our option on this property and secure the location, as this strategic move is anticipated to save the company approximately $5,000 on a monthly basis.”


The building occupies 2.25 acres by Samuel Boulevard, Badlands Drive and Brandon Parkway.


The purchase entity MCA Enterprises Brandon Inc. mortgaged the property to Bank of America for $2.07 million.


Diversified Restaurant Holdings also signed an agreement to open its sixth Florida Buffalo Wild Wings store in Fort Myers. The Fort Myers restaurant will be Diversified Restaurant Holdings' 19th Buffalo Wild Wings location in Michigan and Florida.
