In a move that will lead to the creation of 200 new jobs for the Gulf Coast, Inuvo Inc. will relocate its call center operations, bringing work that had been done overseas for two years back to Florida. The new hires will work from Inuvo's headquarters located in Clearwater.

“As we work to expand many aspects of our service, we were looking to upgrading our call center support and loved the idea of bringing jobs back to the United States, specifically to Clearwater,” said Inuvo Senior Vice President Carrie Maurer in a release.

The change will be facilitated by a new partnership formed with Orlando-based Contact Centers of America, which will provide support to Inuvo's call center employees.

Maurer said her company anticipates improvements to Inuvo's bottom line as a result of the change. “By working with CCA, Inuvo expects to increase revenue and decrease the cost per lead while enhancing the customer's experience,” she said.

Based in Clearwater, Inuvo specializes in online advertising.
