Custom Cable files Chapter 11

Custom Cable Industries Inc. has voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

The company has struggled with high debt levels, as well as litigation claims filed by former executives as well as its senior lender, a release said. In the meantime, Custom Cable said it has the liquidity needed to operate during its restructuring, and all day-to-day operations will continue as usual.

Berenfield Capital Markets LLC has been retained to solicit potential buyers.
