Tech Data promotes Wright

Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ: TECD) has named Murray Wright president of operations throughout the Americas, according to a release.

Wright has been with Tech Data since 2006, when he joined the company as senior vice president of U.S. sales. He had served previously as president of Lenovo Canada, a computer manufacturer.

“Murray brings a wealth of industry and operational experience to his new role,” said Robert Dutkowsky, Tech Data's chief executive officer, in the release. “He has been at the forefront of many strategic initiatives.”
