The ADDY Awards

 The Suncoast Advertising Federation awarded 66 gold awards and 179 silver awards at the ADDY Awards competition, the annual contest for the advertising industry. Special awards included Judges' Choice awards and Amy awards, given in honor of late Sarasota graphic designer Amy Bednar to the highest scorer in each category.

Clarke Advertising won the Best of Show for its Super-Sensitive Musical String Co. campaign; copywriter Angela Mitchell won the Copywriter of the Year award for her work on the project. The Art Director of the Year Award went to Heather Raetz of Smith Advertising, for the John Cannon Homes coffee table book.
