Accountants

• CPA Associates hired Diane Kopczynski as an audit supervisor. Kopczynski will be in charge of the audit department and will work with clients on internal audits. She previously worked as an assistant vice president of People's Home Savings Bank in Beaver Falls, Pa.

Architecture

• The ADP Group, a Sarasota-based architecture, interior design, and planning firm hired two new employees. Jack Meredith was hired as an associate. His projects will include construction documents for Isles Yacht Club and the West Coast Center. Meredith previously worked for Wilson Group Architects in Sarasota and Boston. The ADP Group also hired Angela Steusloff as an interior design associate. She's working on interior renovations for Ocean Reef Club's Heron Hall in Key Largo and Foxfire Country Club in Naples and interior design for Isles Yacht Club's new clubhouse in Punta Gorda. Steusloff previously worked on condominium interiors for Kraft Construction.

Board of directors

• Manatee Glens, a nonprofit mental health service and addiction treatment company, named Todd J. Pokrywa to its board of directors. Pokrywa is vice president of planning at Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc.

Education

• New Gate School hired Paul Wenninger as the new head of the school beginning in July. Wenninger will be responsible for guiding the school as it expands to its new 100-acre campus on State Road 72. Wenninger previously worked as head of the school for St. Stephen's School in San Jose, Calif.

Engineering

• WilsonMiller Inc. announced the appointment of senior vice president and principal J. Michael Bell to the University of Florida's Civil and Coastal Engineering Advisory Board. As part of the board, Bell meets each semester with engineering students to address their questions, concerns and input regarding the college's engineering program.

Health Care

• Susanne Wise of Take Care of Sarasota Inc. has joined the National Associates of Professional Geriatric Care Mangers. Wise is the executive administrator and owner of Take Care of Sarasota Inc.

• FlowMedica Inc., a medical device company based in California, hired Gordon Snyder as vice president of sales for the Suncoast area. Snyder will be in charge of sales and marketing and is based in Bradenton. Snyder previously was the director of sales, North America, at Georgia-based Novoste Corp.

Manufacturing

With Pic • Jan Oppenheimer, a customer service manager at the Teleflex Electronics facility in Sarasota, has won the 2005 Chairman's Award from the Teleflex Foundation. The award provides a $10,000 grant to a Teleflex employee who demonstrates community leadership through volunteerism. Oppenheimer will give the Humane Society of Sarasota County $8,000,while the other $2,000 will be gifted to an out-of-state animal shelter.

Real Estate

With Pic • Michael Saunders & Co. hired Rick Moeser as regional vice president of Christie's Great Estates. Moeser will represent a vast southeastern region for Christie's Great Estates and will also be in charge of business development in Central and South America. Moeser previously worked as senior vice president and regional manager for Sotheby's International Realty.
