News from the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota (EDC) o 7:45 a.m. The EDC will hold a breakfast meeting at the Bobcat Trail Golf and Country Club, North Port. State Rep. Nancy Detert will be the keynote speaker. Kim Simes, dealer education manager for PGT Industriesi University, will also address the group. Cost is $20 for EDC investors and $25 for others.
